Birch + Fog’s MK Ultra Shatter

As most of you know, I’m not super big on concentrates for anything but medicinal use, and I always recommend consuming them in the utmost moderation.

MK Ultra is a strain that’s been on my “to try” list since I learned of its use in treating depression and muscle spasms. I also recently ended up picking up a gently used Torrid White Rhino concentrate attachment for my bong for next to nothing and figured that would be the best way to test out this cross between G-13 and OG kush.

The taste is earthy and a bit piney leading me to believe the terpenes are still intact (a sign of quality concentrate extraction). The effects are immediately relaxing, like feeling all of my muscles un-tense like a big sigh of relief, though I was still lucid enough to clean up my desk after coming back inside from my puff… which is a big thing for me and dabs. Usually I suffer instant couch-lock. There was no harshness in my throat and no coughing, which I attribute both to a medical-grade extraction process and my new vape attachment.
The Torrid, by the way, is fantastic for people like myself who suffer from uncontrollable spasms. The last thing I want to screw around with when I’m trying to medicate is a propane torch! Though the large attachment looks kind of funny on my tiny bong. (Update: I take this back… The Torrid from White Rhino literally fell apart two months after I got it and their warranty department is basically running a scam and won’t refund anything. Instead of wasting $200 on this POS, just grab a $70 Yocan pen or save up for a real e-nail.)

Only downsides I found to this product were really dry, droopy eyes and instant munchies.
